Our Friends
Latitude 36 Charities and the Northwest Arkansas Parrot Head Club are
proud to support many local and national causes.

THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY
Each year our "Beach House on the Hill" event raises money for the
American Cancer Society. To date our total contribution to the ACS is just
over $8,000.00. The Northwest Arkansas PHC also participates in the
ACS's Relay for Life event each June.

FAYETTEVILLE WOMEN'S SHELTER
Our first annual "Tin Cup Scramble" Golf Tournament will benefit the
Fayetteville Women's Shelter. This will be our first time to work with the
women's shelter and we look forward to supporting them often in the
coming years!

HUMANE SOCIETY OF THE OZARKS AND GARLAND COUNTY
Our summer 2005 fund raiser allowed us to donate $200.00 to the
Humane Society of Ozarks. In May of 2006 we co-hosted the first annual
"Hot Springs Day Dreamin'" event with the Strange Birds of Little Rock and
the Northeast Texas PHC. That event raised $3,700.00 which was donated
to the Humane Society of Garland County.

HURRICANE RELIEF
Following the devastation of Hurricane's Katrina and Rita in the fall of 2005
we supported the gulf coast in many different ways. We held a "Trying to
Reason with Hurricane Season" fund raiser, raising $500.00 for the PHIN
Fund. As Hurricane Rita was making landfall two of our club members
also delivered approximately $600.00 worth of supplies to the Northeast
Texas PHC which was helping run a shelter for victims of Hurricane
Katrina. In January of 2006 we also donated $250.00 to help replace street
signs in the French Quarter that were damaged or stolen during Hurricane
Katrina.
